Two Porch Buddies still needed!:

Though most of our hosts have already buddied up with other neighbors to distribute cost and prep,  a couple of our Delmar hosts could still use a “porch buddy” to help with grilling, salad prep, etc. If you are interested in being a porch buddy, please contact Jennifer Hurst at jamhurst@sayreschool.org. Thanks to tose who have already volunteered.

The Lexington 911 call center is working with neighborhoods to get Lexington residents registered for the Smart911 service.  The seroice is offered to Lexington reesidents for free.

Smart911 allows people to create a Safety Profile that will be visible to 9-1-1 call takers in the event of an emergency call. Citizens create profiles for many reasons. Some want to make sure 9-1-1 knows they have a medical condition or allergy, others want to provide their exact address in case they call from a cell phone. You can also list your vehicle information, emergency contacts and even pets.

The process takes about ten minutes and is very thorough. It’s an impressive service and well worth the time to set it up. To set up your profile, go to

http://www.smart911.com

Easter Egg Hunt!

Bell Court Neighborhood Egg Hunt!

Where – Bell Court Park

When – Saturday, March 30th at 10:00

If you will be participating, please drop off one dozen (or more) filled eggs on the porch of 216 East Bell Ct. on Friday, March 29th.

This is always a very popular event and those eggs go FAST. Make sure to be there by 10 to be in on all the fun.

From Allison Hayes on Forest Ave:

Vee found a set of keys in the park this morning next to the theater.  They belong to someone with a Toyota.  They were almost buried.

If these sound like they might be yours, contact Allison and Vee at vee@iglou.com
