Marty, I am looking forward to coming but will have to leave at 4:00 for a church function. Can I come early to help set up? I always look forward to this party!

Hi Bell Court Neighbors! I am not sure how to put a new post so am replying to this although unrelated. I wanted to let you know I have been following the crimes and attempted crimes in the Bell Court Neighborhood. There have also been similar crimes recently in the Mentelle Neighborhood and some in Kenwick. They did arrest somebody on Thursday who was caught trying to break in a home during the day on Aurora. There may be more than one person doing these but it seems like he has been responsible for a lot of them and probably those in Bell Court. I have had reports that he has been hanging around the vacant lot on your side of Walton that is close to Boonesboro. I have also been told that there maybe others that hang around there. I will follow up on that. Hopefully he is responsible for a lot of the car/house/and other property crimes in the area or he will lead police to others if he is not operating alone. These have been committed during the day as well as evenings. If you have any information to share about others hanging around that lot or anything else that might help these crimes stopped please email me at dlawless@lexingtonky.gov
